Beaver Ridge Labrador Retrievers is located in rural SE Minnesota where my husband, John, and I (Sherree) have been raising and breeding AKC Registered Labrador Retrievers for about 10 years.  We are a responsible and devoted small hobby breeder.  John works outside the home while Sherree stays at home tending to the dogs / puppies and does most of the basic training.  After working in the healthcare field for 25 + years, Sherree worked for a breeder where she fell in love with the Labrador Retriever breed and what they have to offer as a family / hunting companion.  Our countryside setting, which is surrounded by bluffs, hills, and valleys, is an ideal place to raise and train our dogs and puppies.  They have plenty of room to exercise, train, and play as well as a couple of ponds to swim in.  Some of our Labradors hunt while all of them are wonderful family companions.  Most of all they get lots of attention and TLC. The majority of our puppies go to pet homes, but also are easily trained as hunting companions.  Some adopted puppies have been trained for field trial competitions.  We have had puppies go on to be service / therapy dogs.  Also two puppies went on to be trained as canine (narcotic) police dogs and are excelling in their job field.  Labradors are so diverse, but they always make the perfect family member. We breed only quality Labradors, first and mostly for the love of this amazing breed.  Our "Family of Labradors" are selected for their sound conformation and health, outstanding temperments, gentleness, trainabilty, and the natural ability to retrieve.  Most importantly Labrador Retrievers make excellent family and hunting companions.  We take great pride in our Lab's and our goal is to pass on the above mentioned traits to their puppies.   All of our adult Labrador Retrievers are AKC Registered, Hips are OFA and / or PennHIP, and OFA Elbows.  The health of our Labs and puppies are top priority.   We usually have AKC Labrador Retriever Puppies available in all 3 colors ~ Black, Chocolate, and Yellow.  Occasionally we will have a "fox red" yellow and a very light cream (creamy white) yellow.  To be placed on the waiting list please contact us.  Reservations or deposits in the amount of $100 are accepted once a litter is born.     Feel free to contact us for additional info.         Thank you ...
